Halloween eats and treats

We started off with Halloween Cookie Decorating at Sweet Relief Pastries. All supplies including sprinkles were included and we loved the spooky designs that Diedre chose. She’s so full of smiles and fun and perfect for teaching you how to decorate.

Here’s a look at our finished cookies. We were quite proud of the pumpkin and the ghost lol.

We also got to try some ghoulishly cute Macarons from 8 Cakes YYC! 

Flavors were so unique: Drac - Black Forest Ghost -Mint Lemonade Pumpkin - Pumpkin Caramel Zombie unicorn - Bubblegum 

Our fave was the cute Zombie Unicorn 

She also had some Day of the Dead cookies that were skeletastic!

We tried the Halloween Roll at Shijo Sushi in Kensington - it was special because it had Japanese Pumpkin tempura and avocado, topped with bbq eel, unagi sauce, green onion and tobiko. 

We loved how soft the Pumpkin tempura was and how the flavours melded together!
