This year we had some delicious holiday treats and couldn’t wait to share them.
To start off, we tried @ritas_flour_garden sugar cookies and gingerbread cookies. They were decorated so pretty we tried not to eat them but caved in the end. Pictured below are her ornament cookies and gingerbread. We especially loved the super cute gingerbread man (person)!
Next up was a new protein donut concept that’s in The Downtown Core shopping food court. @bakedbrands donuts are super healthy choices and packed full of protein (15g of protein) in each donut. We got to try the holiday flavours - Eggnog Gingerbread, Pumpkin Pie pecan, Santa’s Strawberry Cheesecake, and Chocolate Mint Candy Cane :)
We needed a good pick me up Christmas morning coffee and the beans from from @rithetcoffeeco (with Baileys of course) were just perfect in our Holiday Lattes
Keeping up with the boozy trend - we loved the christmas and Boozy Macarons from @8cakesyyc so tasty and less sugar and gluten free are always a plus.
Check out the beautiful gold brushed macarons from her boozy collection *Chocolate Whisky, Apple Cider, and Kahlua-Baileys.
If macarons weren't enough to indulge on, we had to try the Christmas collection bonbons from @pastrylandyyc and @forkandfarmyyc
These little bits of the holidays were so beautiful and flavorful. We had to keep going back for more!
Christmas flavors included:
Salted caramel, smoked banana rum & Candied pecan Espressso, Baileys Ganache, and Santa's Raspberry Mojito
Last but not least!
One of our fondest memories is eating Ferrero Rocher around the holidays and the Ferroro Rocher ice cream was so on point! Village Ice Cream did an amazing job with the Hazelnut flavour and crunch! @villageicecream.
